Overview

Small World Labs provides a cutting edge on-demand (software as as service), flexible and fully hosted "white label" social media and networking technology platform for businesses. Our platform enables businesses & organizations to quickly create, manage and grow online communities and social media marketing programs that are proven to drive stronger customer loyalty, deeper customer engagement and strengthening of your brand.

The base social media platform includes user profiles, blogs, video galleries, photo galleries, file galleries, audio, forums, groups, and classifieds. It also includes an advanced administration interface (Social CMS) for controlling the site design, layout and navigation. A number of premium modules are also available, including ratings and reviews, user types and premium content. Through our consultative approach, we'll help you choose specific combinations of the capabilities to create the right solution for your business needs.

Architecture

The Small World Labs platform is a flexible system that allows clients to manage the site on a page by page basis. Each page is constructed using a series of blocks that can be arranged by the client to fit their needs. Clients may also choose to create extensions of all of the core content areas. The extensions or “custom blocks” are created using a combination of the Small World Labs API and Small World Labs Site Page Development Framework. These blocks can be created per client and used across the platform. Clients also have the ability to create new pages as well as custom HTML content that can live throughout the site.

Security

Small World Labs’ Enterprise Social Media solutions are delivered through an on demand, single-tenant architecture that enables rapid customization without compromising security.

Design

Through the administration panel the site administrator can manage all aspects of the site design. This includes the header, footer, body and navigation of the site as well as an advanced CSS editor. The interfaces combine drag and drop editors with color, font and background selection tools to enable a fully custom look and feel that extends each clients brand to their social media initiatives.
